Welcome to Cloverdale Elementary School, home of the Clovers! My name is Mr. Brad Sandy, and I am the principal here at CES. Our teachers, secretaries, nurses, custodians, and other critical support staff have been diligently working to make Cloverdale clean and bright for your children to learn in a safe, welcoming environment. Our school has approximately 497 students in pre- kindergarten through fourth grade. We offer two different types of pre-schools. Our Kindergarten Readiness class is for students that are 4 years old and will be attending Kindergarten the following year. We also have an Early Childhood Development Program that is run by Old National Trails, our special education cooperative. The staff at Cloverdale is very enthusiastic and dedicated to meeting the individual needs of all of our students providing “Success for Everyone”. At CES, the parents, teachers, and support staff are all part of a unified family working hard to ensure the safety and well-being of all children while providing them with a challenging and rewarding educational experience. As parents, you play an integral role as a part of this family in the education of your child. I encourage you to get to know your child’s teacher and stay updated on classroom and school events. I would also like to encourage you to join our Parent Teacher Organization that actively supports our staff in providing our children with the best educational experience and learning opportunities possible. Visitors are always welcome at Cloverdale Elementary School. When visiting, please enter through the main doors and obtain a visitor's pass in the office. I am very fortunate to be a part of the CES family and excited to share this upcoming school year with you and your child. I would love the opportunity to meet you, so please feel free to stop by the main office to introduce yourself. Building a strong home-school partnership is important to me and vital to a child's successful educational journey. Thank you for entrusting us to nurture, encourage, challenge, and enjoy your precious ones during the 2016 - 17 school year! If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or myself. I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family.
